Keep it Simple… if only it were that easy!  This course is designed to provide a systematic overview of the policies and procedures prescribed by FAR Part 13, the Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  Attendees will understand when at what thresholds these procurement procedures can be utilized as well as the benefit of utilizing the streamlined Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  Attention will be paid to thresholds and exemptions to thresholds so that students understand the appropriate scenarios when these expedited procurement methods may be employed either as a contractor interacting with the government, or as a prime seeking to sell work to a subcontractor. Lastly, the course will address the regulation that governs these procedures and recent updates.  The course will conclude with a fun group quiz, followed by questions and answers.
