The University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies is hosting the GovCon Council Roundtable, New Small Business Contracting Rules: Risks & Opportunities on November 13, 2013 at 12:00PM. James Boland and Dismas Locaria, attorneys in Venable’s government contracts practice, will lead a discussion covering both the important implications and opportunities arising out of three significant final rules issued by the SBA implementing the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The new rules address, among other things, major changes with respect to small business size and status integrity and liability, small business subcontracting plans, and small business set asides for task and delivery order contracts. These rules will impact both small and large government contractors.
