About The Speaker
Over the course of his career, Mr. Mark Hijar of ProcureLinx LLC has worked hard to be an innovative expert in supply chain management and federal procurement compliance and has taken more than 30 clients successfully through the CPSR process to date.
Mr. Hijar has held positions at all levels of legal and procurement functions from Contracts Administrator to General Counsel. As Director of Compliance he took a purchasing system for a $900M/yr contractor through two successful reviews, including that company’s first ever CPSR. As counsel, he successfully negotiated and executed more than 6,000 agreements – from TAs to subcontracts to AMRDEC CRADAs and TAAs with the British Royal Navy and la Fuerza Aérea Colombiana. He also managed a robust IP portfolio including dozens of patents (primarily MEMS sensors, robotics and supporting algorithms).
Mr. Hijar is a published author (CM Magazine) and featured presenter on CPSR and supply chain management issues for DC Metro area events sponsored by NCMA, GovWin and the USMC Small Business office. His social media group, “CPSR Help and Hints” (hosted on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) hosts one of the largest combined social media audience for CPSR issues.
