Program Description

Intellectual property rights frequently are a mong a government contractor’s most valuable assets. However, government contracts are subject to a complex regulatory framework that makes such rights easy to lose and difficult to protect.  This program provides an easy-to-follow explanation of the rules that govern the creation, allocation, and protection of rights in technical data and computer software under government contracts and subcontracts.  It also suggests practical tips and strategies for negotiating and protecting those rights.

In this seminar attendees will learn about:

  • The rules governing the allocation of rights in technical data and computer software under government contracts and subcontracts
  • Practical tips for negotiating rights in technical data and computer software under government contracts and subcontracts
