Our first seminar of the new year is about a very popular topic: CPSRs. We welcome back Mark Hijar from ProcureLinx to talk review the hot button issues from 2019 and what to look forward to in 2020. Program Description
This presentation will provide a review of CPSR “hot button” issues from 2019 and a look forward at what to expect from 2020.
In addition to the seminar, the Chapter will have a professional photographer available to take a headshot photo. Use this any place where you want to put your best “face” forward! See below for pricing.
This program will cover recurring issues from 2019 Contractor Purchasing System Reviews including FFATA compliance; Small Business Subcontracting Plans; Source Justifications; Price Analysis and Negotiations; and the misapplication of DoD Class Deviations and DFARS clauses to Contractor Purchasing System operation and output.
This program will also cover issues gaining attention as we move into 2020, including Cyber-Incident Reporting; Counterfeit Parts; Buy American Act; and Limitations on Pass-Through Charges.
Finally, attendees will receive guidance regarding CPSR Team management and responding to questions and deficiencies during (and after) your review.

The Presenter
Mark Hijar, ProcureLinx
Over the course of his corporate career, Mark Hijar has served at multiple levels of the procurement profession, including Subcontract Administrator, Director of Purchasing, and Corporate Counsel / Director of Compliance.
Mark currently serves as the Lead Consultant for ProcureLinx LLC, a consulting firm in the DC Metro area specializing in federal procurement compliance and systemic process improvement. ProcureLinx primarily focuses on Contractor Purchasing System Reviews, Property System assessments, Small Business compliance, proposal production / sole source proposal support, and incurred cost audit support.
As a consultant Mark has acted as Subject Matter Expert on more than 80 CPSRs in his career, including more than a dozen in 2019 alone. Mark also currently oversees the ongoing development of software products designed specifically for contractors navigating the CPSR process, including Pro (internal review tool) and ProFile (subcontract management system).

The UNICOM Technology Park Conference Center provides complimentary Wi-Fi if you prefer to download the presentation files on the day of the event.
