Major General (ret.) Darryl A. Scott joined General Dynamics Information Technology as Vice President of the Contracts and Acquisition Management Office (CAMO) in November 2019. After more than 40 years of experience in contracting and federal decision making, General Scott brings a knack for innovation and risk management to the company. Prior to joining GDIT, General Scott served as Commissioner on the Congressionally mandated Section 809 Acquisition Reform Panel which recommended major changes to DoD acquisitions, to instill acquisition best practices and streamline acquisition regulations. Prior to that General Scott was Corporate Vice President of Contracts at The Boeing Company from 2009 to 2018.
General Scott is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He served on active duty in the Air Force for 34 years in variety of Contracting and Acquisition assignments, including Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency and command of the Joint Contracting Command for Iraq and Afghanistan.
Major General Scott is based at GDIT Headquarters in Falls Church, VA.
