Our November seminar is about price analysis and cost analysis. Join us for an informative discussion!
Cost Analysis and Price Analysis – two critical and essential tools used in assessing fairness and reasonableness of proposed prices – must be understood by buyers and sellers in all government contracting situations – government contracting officers, and contractors alike.
In this seminar, we will do an overview of cost analysis and exemptions. Futher, we will cover price analysis and the current DoD environment. Lastly, we will discuss the challenges Government contracting industry is facing today related to cost analysis and price analysis from bidding and procurement prospectives.
About The Speaker
Anthony Kim from Capital Edge has almost 20 years of experience in various cost accounting and compliance issues related to government contracts. Specifically, he is knowledgeable in the areas of government contract procurement regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, OMB Uniform Guidance, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
Prior to joining Capital Edge, Mr. Kim was a director at BDO USA, Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, and Navigant Consulting. He has also worked for KPMG as a manager for over seven years. Recently, he assisted in developing an annual DCAA conference seminar, conducted training for Federal Publication Seminars and Public Contracting Institute, held webinars with clients and prospects on various government contract compliance matters, and served as a member of the NDIA Contract Finance Committee in charge of regulatory and legislative updates.
